Editor's Note: Subsequent reporting indicates that both the DOJ and FBI have determined this letter is fraudulent, despite its inclusion in a Trump administration document release of Epstein files. This story and its headline have been updated accordingly. AlterNet regrets the error.

A document released on Tuesday as part of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation files is a fraudulent letter purportedly written by Epstein to Larry Nassar that references President Donald Trump. Both the DOJ and FBI have marked the letter as fake, according to multiple reports.

Nassar was a physician for the U.S. women's national gymnastics team who sexually abused several of the nation's top gymnasts.

The false letter contains the following passage: "We shared one thing ... our love and caring for young ladies and the hope they'd reach their full potential."

It then references the sitting president, during his first term.

"Our president also shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to 'grab snatch' whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system. Life is unfair," the letter states.

The fraudulent letter was allegedly delivered to Nassar after Epstein's death.
