WATCH: Larry Wilmore Totally Slams 'Creepy' Ted Cruz
Larry Wilmore took on the topic of Ted Cruz's recent surge in the Iowa polls Monday night, asking his producer if perhaps the 10-point lead Cruz is enjoying might be a mistake.
No, his producer replied. "It's the news that is broken."
True dat.
Wilmore is as perplexed as all sentient beings at Cruz's popularity. While the world signed a climate agreement in Paris, Cruz was out there still claiming that facts and science prove climate change is wrong.
“You can’t say facts and evidence matter in your climate denial speech,” Wilmore said. “That’s like having an affair with the babysitter and in the middle of having sex you whisper to her, ‘Monogamy is very important to me.'”
Wilmore rolled some more creepy clips featuring Cruz, including the famous one of the gung-ho Texas Senator cooking bacon on a shotgun. Wilmore's comment: "Do you know how small your dick has to be to do something like that?"
Finally, Larry consulted a medium who pointed out that the problem with both Cruz and the modern GOP is that they are haunted, possessed by demons even, the reason being that they have simply said the word "Reagan" too many times.
