Push Notification

Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville unleashed a fury on a slew of people in a Sunday afternoon rant, from Haley Stevens to Stephen Miller.

He began with a rant about Stevens, comparing her to Sen. John Fetterman (D-Penn.), assumed she was bribed with something and said that her political career was over.

"I mean unions and black voters gave her, you know, unbelievable support. And then — well, I don't know. People speculate on why she actually went out after she said she would not, and she made a pledge, and she endorsed the nominee and she took all the money and everything, and there's a lot of speculation," Carville began. "What tipped?"

He said that it was as simple as one party offering her one cheeseburger and former Rep. Mike Rogers (R) offering her two cheeseburgers.

"And in the spirit of John Federman s—, give me another cheeseburger and I'll give you my soul. I mean, lady, if you're going to sell your soul, you got to get more for it than a f—— cheeseburger. Okay?" Carville explained. "I'm just telling you that you got to put some kind of a price on yourself for some kind of a g—d— self-pride. But your political career is over."

But he said that, while this was going on, he showed a photo of Miller's children dressed as Russian soldiers for Halloween at the White House.

Miller, who is deputy chief of staff at the White House, is what Carville called, "probably the most powerful person in the United States government. It's hard for me to even put this where — in a place that you could understand it. This is Steven Miller's 7-year-old son. And this is Katie and Steven Miller's family values. He's dressing up like a Russian soldier. They are admiring the greatest criminal in the world. A person a international criminal who started a war, invaded a sovereign country, bombing hospitals and civilian sites and everything they can."

"The White House, this most senior White House [staffer] is dressing him up like a Russian soldier. And the New York Times is talking about did [James] Talarico have 30 or 45 people in his classroom? Did [Mary] Peltola touch a staffer?" Carville continued. "And we have what, in my opinion, is treason of the highest level. You understand that? The chief of staff of the White House is instilling in a seven-year-old child the values of Vladimir Putin. Oh boy. But we had — what about did Troy Jackson marry his second cousin here or something?"

He explained that the reason for his anger is that the 2026 election has far more at stake than what pops up in a supermarket tabloid.

"Did people understand the gravity of the situation we faced in? Do they understand that this election is about way more than who's going to win the election or the horse race or the number of congressional seats you pick up or what do swing voters do or how do they how do the phone banks?" Carville asked.

He explained that the U.S. is in a place where people in the White House are "traitors," but that the New York Times says, "we got to report both sides."

He mocked that if the Times can't see "another side" then they'll find it, "because there's no such thing as right and wrong. There's no such thing as somebody trying to be patriotic and somebody trying to be treasonous. No, we can't judge that. No, no, no. So, come Tuesday, I, like anybody else, I see the same polls you do. I see the same reports you do. I am just hoping and praying. I hope I'm right. Just please, please, please let people not pay attention to the commentary and all that bulls— and understand the perilous point that the United States of America is right at this moment in early November of the year 2026."
