‘Trump incarnate’: Biden delivers brutal blow to Ron DeSantis for his position toward the LGBTQ community

President Joe Biden recently expressed disdain for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' (R) political opposition toward the LGBTQ community as he accused him of "demonizing the LGBTQ population.”
Biden made his blistering remarks during a campaign event for Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist. At the time, the president also suggested that DeSantis is a "Donald Trump incarnate.”
“This to me is one of the most important races in the country,” Biden said. “Charlie is running against Donald Trump incarnate.”

According to HuffPost, Biden noted shed light on the $16 million federal grant awarded to the Port of Miami as a result of the $1 trillion infrastructure package.
Although DeSantis opposed the legislative package and many Republican lawmakers voted against it, Biden notes how many pivoted after the incentive passed. He also expects similar action from DeSantis.
“I’m sure your governor will take credit for it somewhere along the line,” Biden said.
Following Biden's blistering remarks, Crist also chimed in to remind the crowd that DeSantis still has not committed to a full four-year gubernatorial term. “Governor DeSantis only cares about the White House, he doesn’t give a damn about your house," Crist told the audience.
Amid growing speculation that he will be running for president in 2024, DeSantis has been repeatedly asked about his political future and if he'd need to be replaced in the near future. Since he's currently running for gubernatorial re-election, he has yet to offer a definitive answer to that question.
