MSNBC News' Chris Hayes recently explored a number of scenarios that could arise in the wake of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announcing her retirement from Democratic leadership in the House of Representatives.

During his latest segment of MSNBC's "All In with Chris Hayes," the primetime news anchor offered a comparison between Pelosi's “consequential,” Congressional achievements and Republicans' lack of a “substantive agenda.”

Although they did manage to regain control of the House by a very slim margin, Hayes still argues that Republicans do not have a solid agenda to move forward.

At one point during the segment, Hayes aired a supercut featuring current Republican lawmakers in the House including far-right conspiracy theorist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who he believes sounded more “like a Steve Bannon podcast episode than a congressional agenda.”

Hayes also highlighted a stark difference between the two groups of lawmakers comparing the likes of Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) to welfare advocates like Pelosi.

“When you compare Jim Jordan in his shirtsleeves wailing about Hunter Biden’s laptop, to the pillars of the American social welfare state that Nancy Pelosi has overseen, that is exactly what the two different parties stand for at this moment,” he said.

The clip offers insight into how different things could become as Republicans take over the House.
