Stephen Colbert mocks Giuliani with the 'most chilling phrase in the English language'

“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert has joined the list of individuals who were have reacted in both shock and horror by the news that Rudy Giuliani, one of former President Donald Trump's allies, being a guest on “The Masked Singer.”
When Giuliana was revealed as the masked celebrity this week, his appearance led to two celebrity judges walking off stage in protest. However, Colbert believes there is another reason for their opposition, according to HuffPost.
During his late-night segment on Thursday, Colbert weighed in with his take on the big reveal as he mocked Guiliani. “Or they left in terror,” he said. “I mean one of the most chilling phrases in the English language is: ‘Surprise, it’s Rudy Giuliani.’ Just ask the crew of ‘Borat.’”
Colbert also offered his take on how Giuliani managed to appear on the show in the first place. The latest debacle involving Giuliani comes after a string of scathing reports highlighting his involvement in Trump's attempted coup.

Not only did he help to file countless lawsuits in hopes of overturning the presidential election, but he also spoke at the "Save America" rally prior to the angry mob of Trump supporters storming the Capitol. Although he and other Trump allies had no substantial evidence of widespread voter fraud, he attempted to circulate false claims and conspiracy theories about the presidential election being stolen.
