Michael Rogers is a partner in AlterNet Media, publisher of AlterNet. Previously, he served as director of development for The National LGBTQ Task Force and as director of major gifts at Greenpeace. He is the lead subject of the documentary Outrage, by Academy-Award nominated director Kirby Dick, which was inspired by his groundbreaking work at BlogActive.com. He is also the executive director of Netroots Connect, a national non-profit organization which manages programs that bring online and offline leaders to create change. He is also a partner in Raw Story Media, which publishes RawStory.com.
