CPAC Head Matt Schlapp Says Trump Should Abuse His Pardon Powers to Warn Mueller Against Going 'Too Far'

The Right Wing

From the June 1 edition of Fox News' America's Newsroom:

MATT SCHLAPP (CHAIRMAN, AMERICAN CONSERVATIVE UNION): President Trump has sympathy for these well-known, celebrity-like figures who get prosecutorial excess partly because of their fame. They might commit crimes, but the question is did the prosecutors go too far? And I think what we're seeing over and over again is that prosecutors tend to go too far, and I think it could be true with Mueller, and if that's the message he's sending to Mueller, I'm fine with that as well.
