The Heartbreaking Tweets of Anthony Hill's Girlfriend: Another Unarmed Black Man Killed by Police

In Dekalb County, Georgia last night, police shot and killed Anthony Hill, a 27-year-old African American who was unarmed and naked at the time of the shooting.

Police arrived at the scene around 1pm after reports that a man wearing no clothes was crawling on the ground and banging on doors.

“He was doing weird movement. He was crawling on the floor, lying down on the floor,” one witness told the local news.

An officer reportedly told Hill to go inside or he would be arrested. Later, Hill lunged at the officer, and was shot twice and killed.

“He ran to the police. He runs wide open with the hands up,” said a witness.

The officer who shot and killed Hill is a white male, leading to concerns of racial bias. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been brought in to investigate.
