A former staffer for the Trump White House is revealing details about the accounts of sexual harassment she personally witnessed while working for former President Donald Trump.

During a recent appearance on CNN, former White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham shed light on a situation involving one staffer she worked to protect from the former president.

According to HuffPost, the staffer was one who would accompany Trump on business trips.

“I did everything I could to keep her off of trips actually, and to stay with her if she was with him alone because I was really nervous about what could happen,” Grisham explained.

She also detailed another incident saying, “He one time had one of my other deputies bring her back so that they could look at her ass, is what he said to him,” Grisham said. “I sat down and talked to her at one point, asked her if she was uncomfortable. I tried everything I could to ensure she was never alone with him.”

Grisham also revealed that she'd appealed to a number of top-ranking officials within the Trump administration. White House Chief Mark Meadows was one of those individuals she'd discussed the former president's behavior with.

But despite her efforts, there was reportedly no resolution for the issue.

“I think, at the end of the day, what could they do other than go in there and say, ‘This isn’t good, Sir’?' Donald Trump will do what Donald Trump wants to do,” Grisham said.

According to Grisham, Trump also had a habit of making derogatory remarks about staffers' looks; something most senior staffers were well aware of.

“But with this one staffer, it was really bad, to the point that I was extremely uncomfortable,” she said.

Grisham's remarks came just hours after Trump made headlines for the unfavorable ruling handed down for E. Jean Carroll's defamation suit against him. On Tuesday, May 9, a judge ruled to hold Trump accountable for sexual abuse as part of the lawsuit.

Although Grisham is speaking out now, she's also facing criticism for failing to do so sooner.

“I frankly see no redeeming quality in this woman or any of the Trump accomplices who now want to clear their names and want to make a buck,” CNN political commentator Ana Navarro said earlier.
