President Donald Trump was on the warpath about who leaked the news of his intimate relationship with accused ‘diaper nurse’ Natalie Harp, according to anonymous sources within the White House.
“Trump, the sources said, was furious about this for days, and ordered advisers to conduct what one of the sources called an expansive ‘mole hunt’ to figure out who leaked the private correspondence – or, ‘love letters,’ as some Trump advisers mockingly called them,” reports Zeteo. “The president privately bellowed about how there were a tiny number of people, including himself, who had access to Harp’s letters, and that he considered it a towering ‘invasion of privacy’ for anyone to leak them.”
Trump was “absolutely livid,” according to three sources with direct knowledge of the matter, reports Zeteo writer Asawin Suebsaeng, after the New York Times ran a story that quoted from a series of leaked “devotional letters” that close Trump aide Harp had written to her boss. These included letters like “You are all that matters to me.”
“One of the three sources says they were ‘interviewed’ by Trump officials for the informal leak probe, and that they were asked to hand over their phone for inspection,” reports Suebsaeng. “It is unclear if Trump ever found the moles responsible.”
But his many days of rage indicated Harp was a mafia-style “made woman, protected up on high by the MAGA prince of darkness himself,” reports Suebsaeing.
“To this day, sources close to Trump recount to me how (to put it gently) psychotically overprotective he is of her. In some ways, his attitude towards her eclipses the close relationships he’s had with other aides, including Hope Hicks, who was similarly a source of soothing emotional support for the president during his first term,” Suebsaeng reports. “A conspicuous number of Trump advisers and U.S. government officials I’ve talked to sound genuinely weirded out by the Trump-Harp relationship. TO BE CLEAR: These sources do not say anything untoward is going on, as is often the public innuendo. They just find it all … deeply weird and off-putting.”
Insiders note that Harp is rarely away from the president's side, often managing his immediate environment and filtering information to keep him satisfied. The extreme level of protection she receives from the top has created deep tension among seasoned staffers. Many feel forced to walk on eggshells around her, fearing that any perceived slight could trigger a fierce presidential backlash. This dynamic has effectively transformed her into one of the most untouchable figures inside the administration's inner circle.
