Tucker Carlson suggests the CIA was 'involved' in plot to assassinate JFK

Fox News host Tucker Carlson is now insisting that an inside source has confirmed the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) may have been involved in the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy.

On Thursday, December 15, the conservative host discussed the latest development involving JFK's assassination. Earlier this week, it was revealed that thousands of new JFK-related files have been released.

According to Mediaite, Carlson also noted that "thousands of documents are still being withheld, blasting both former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden for not releasing all the files in accordance with 1992 legislation for everything to be released by 2017."

At one point during the segment, Carlson claimed to know someone “deeply familiar” with materials that have not been made public.

"We spoke to someone who had access to these still hidden CIA documents, a person who was deeply familiar with what they contained," Carlson said. "We asked this person directly, 'Did the CIA have a hand in the murder of John F. Kennedy, an American President?'”

He added, "And here’s the reply we received verbatim. Quote, 'The answer is yes. I believe they were involved. It’s a whole different country from what we thought it was. It’s all fake.'”

Carlson also claimed the CIA was an "obvious suspect" as he attempted to offer more insight about his source. “This is someone with direct knowledge of the information that once again is being withheld from the American public,” he said. “And the answer we received was unequivocal. Yes, the CIA was involved in the assassination of the president.”

Adding more fuel to the fire, Carlson called out all of the CIA directors who have led the agency since JFK's death. According to Carlson, they all have known the truth but have refrained from disclosing those details to the American public.

“That list would also include, we are sad to say, our friend Mike Pompeo, who ran the CIA in the last administration,” he said. “Mike Pompeo knew this. We asked Pompeo to join us tonight, and though he rarely turns down a televised interview, he refused to come.”
