Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon are not pleased about the direction of Fox News’ political coverage after the network "snubbed" former President Donald Trump during his visit to Washington D.C. last week. On Wednesday, August 3, Giuliani appeared on the latest edition of Bannon's podcast, "War Room: Pandemic," where the pair griped about what they said was the network's decision to become more "anti-Donald Trump."

“The other day, Donald Trump returns to Washington D.C., for the first time since he left to give a keynote address on law and order and anarchy in our major cities,” Bannon explained.

"Mike Pence gives a 17-minute bromide like a high school kid, cut and paste. Absolutely ridiculous," Bannon continued. "They cover 17 minutes [of Pence] and they blow a commercial break, which is like a mortal sin over at Fox. They blow a commercial break to cover all of that. … Why do they have their thumb on the scale for a loser and a coward like Mike Pence?"

"And they’re up against and trying to defeat again Donald J. Trump?" he added.

Giuliani, who was previously a personal attorney for Trump, complained that Fox News didn't invite him on for an interview on the anniversary of 9/11.

“How could they not have me on on September 11?'” Giuliani asked. “They went through September 11 as if I never existed. I mean, it’s amazing. They’re part of the make-up history the way you want it to be network.”

As the House Select Committee continues its investigation into the Jan. 6 insurrection on the U.S. Capitol, Fox News has made more of an effort to distance itself from the former president. His assault on the 2020 presidential election led to a flurry of allegations and bad press as the network was involved in a defamation suit filed by Dominion Voting Systems.
