Right-wing contradictions exposed amid GOP's critical responses to Biden's student debt relief announcement

Conservatives aren't pleased with millions of Americans receiving student loan relief amid former President Joe Biden's announcement of debt cancellation. However, many social media users have quickly pushed back to point out the hypocrisy of their concerns.
Per a new report, the phrase "This you?" began circulating on social media as users offered critical reactions to refute Republican lawmakers' claims and scrutiny of student debt relief. The Guardian's Matthew Cantor shared details about the latest developments on social media.
"Biden’s debt cancellation has given the phrase new life: 'This you?' is rolling through Twitter like a bowling ball, toppling critic after critic as it nullifies their claims," Cantor wrote. "The source of many of the 'receipts,' in this case, is the public record of those who had their Payment Protection Plan (PPP) loans – the federal funds intended to keep businesses afloat early in the pandemic – forgiven."
PragerU, a conservative advocacy organization, tweeted, "It’s not complicated. Bailing out irresponsible behavior will spur more irresponsible behavior.”
“This you”? one Twitter user asked. That user also included receipts featuring hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of forgiven PPP loan funds.
Conservative analyst Steven Crowder also found himself at the center of controversy when he weighed in to criticize Biden's announcement. “Student loan forgiveness sounds really nice to illegal immigrants, people with no life experience, people who don’t have families yet, and people who use preferred pronouns,” he wrote.
With the phrase, "This you?", Twitter users fired back with screenshots showing more than $71,000 in PPP loan forgiveness he received for his company.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) also faced criticism for her remarks. After criticizing Biden, users highlighted that she also received $183,504 in PPP loans that were also forgiven.
