A special news segment set to air in the coming days will feature an in-depth analysis of the leaders at the center of the war taking place in Ukraine: Ukrainian President Vladimir Putin and Russian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

On Saturday, March 5, ABC News issued a press release with details about the upcoming special report, "Two Men at War," which will be hosted by "Good Morning America" news anchor George Stephanopoulos. The segment will highlight both leaders' political careers, their rise to power, and the distinct differences between the two of them.

"As Russia wages war on Ukraine, George Stephanopoulos Productions (GSP) presents an in-depth examination of the two men at the center of this battle, President Vladimir Putin and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. 'Good Morning America' and 'This Week' anchor George Stephanopoulos reports on how both men rose to power, the stark differences in their leadership, and what led to this moment in history."

It continued, "Through the extraordinary reporting from the ABC News teams on the ground, wide-ranging interviews, and the extensive ABC News archives, this special brings viewers beyond the headlines and provides a deeper understanding of the biggest crisis on European soil since World War II."
