Tucker Carlson falsely claims Kamala Harris is 'not from this country' because she went to high school in Canada

Fox News' Tucker Carlson recently took a page out of the Trump playbook when he raised questions about Vice President Kamala Harris' citizenship due to her attending high school in Canada.
On Tuesday, November 15, Carlson spent a good portion of his segment attacking the vice president. From mocking the pronunciation of her first name to bringing up her past relationships, Carlson made it a point to try and discredit Harris personally and professionally.
"The one thing we know for sure about Kamala Harris is we should all be very, very grateful to have her because she's historic for reasons that no one ever explains," Carlson said.
The conservative host went on to suggest to viewers that Harris isn't "from this country."

"But there's a lot we don't know about Kamala Harris. Most people probably don't know she really grew up in Canada, where she went to high school," he said. "She's not from this country in that sense, or she's certainly also from Canada."
"Why haven't we heard that?" he added.

This isn't the first time Carlson, who was briefly enrolled in boarding school in Switzerland, has expressed faux outrage about Harris' background.
"Last year, he suggested she doesn't know American history because of it. He has also defended birther-esque claims questioning whether she can identify as Black, has continued to mispronounce her name even after being corrected on air, and has launched sexist attacks about her dating history."
