Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has fired back at Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) for the disturbing clip he posted of an anime version of himself killing her.

After the lawmaker shared the clip on Twitter, Ocasio-Cortez responded with her reaction to the clip as she slammed the Republican lawmaker.

“While I was en route to Glasgow, a creepy member I work with who fundraises for Neo-Nazi groups shared a fantasy video of him killing me," she wrote.

Despite the grotesque nature of Gosar's post, the Democratic lawmaker is convinced he will likely face "no consequences" for his actions.

The New York congresswoman, who described Gosar as "a collection of wet toothpicks," also delved into the ideology of "white supremacy" and how it relates to Gosar.

She added, "This dude is a just a collection of wet toothpicks anyway. White supremacy is for extremely fragile people & sad men like him, whose self concept relies on the myth that he was born superior because deep down he knows he couldn't open a pickle jar or read a whole book by himself."

Shortly after Gosar's post began circulating on Twitter, other Democratic lawmakers also blasted him for the inappropriate post. Not only did the post violate Twitter's community policies, it was also described as glorification of violence.

"Happy Monday in America, where @GOPLeader McCarthy's colleague just posted a video of himself swinging two swords at President Biden," Rep. Eric Swalwell tweeted. "These blood thirsty losers are more comfortable with violence than voting. Keep exposing them."

However, Gosar's digital director defended the work as she insisted "everybody needs to relax."

"We made an anime video," she said. "Everyone needs to relax. The left doesn't get meme culture. They have no joy. They are not the future. It's a cartoon. Gosar can't fly and he does not own any light sabers. Nor was violence glorified. This is about fighting for truth."
