Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) is the highlight of a new, scathing supercut now circulating on social media.

The deeply critical montage was referenced by MSNBC host Chris Hayes on Tuesday, October 5, reports HuffPost. During the segment, Hayes pushed back against the Republican lawmaker's disapproval of the U.S. Department of Justice's efforts to increase surveillance and monitoring of threats made toward school administrative officials and education boards.

Hawley’s indignant opposition toward the initiative comes as school officials and board members are being subjected to threats, harassment, and other forms of intimidation. In fact, recent reports have highlighted the unrest that erupts at school board meetings as parents push back against COVID mask mandates, accine mandates. The teaching of critical race theory in schools has also become a point of contention and concern for Republicans.

However, Hayes finds the opposition "kind of astounding when the reality of what’s happening on the ground is undeniable."

The supercut featured a collection of clips highlighting some of the violent outbursts, angry verbal threats, and harassment school officials have been subjected to over the last several weeks. However, Hayes claims he may have a solution to the problem with Hawley.

“Josh Hawley’s very upset,” Hayes concluded. “We’re going to send him that montage just to read him into a little bit of what’s been going on at the local level, but I suspect he knows.”
