Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) is peddling a new gimmick for campaign cash — and this time he is hoping to use former President Donald Trump to push his agenda.

On Tuesday, April 27, the Republican senator appeared on "The Sean Hannity Show" where he shared details about his latest gimmick with the Fox News prime-time anchor. Graham claims he is already making an effort to raising campaign funding so the Republican Party can "take back the House and the Senate." This time, he is offering his constituents a chance to spend the day with Trump, according to The HuffPost.

"The money is going to be used to take back the House and the Senate so we can stop this slide to socialism," Graham told Hannity. "You have lunch, you have breakfast with President Trump, you get a photo, you play at his golf course in Florida. It's going to be a lot of fun."

The contest, which was featured on Graham's website before it expired on Tuesday night, caught the attention of many Twitter users but not for the reason the lawmaker may have hoped. Since Graham has been a lawmaker for nearly three decades, many expressed how pathetic it appears for him to be stooping so low and begging for cash.

"Lindsey Graham announces a contest where the winner gets to play golf with him and Trump so where's the prize?" one Twitter user tweeted. "I'd be sure to lose!!!!!"

Graham's latest appeal for cash comes just months after he relentlessly begged for donations during his re-election campaign against his Democratic opponent Jamie Harrison. At the time, Harrison raked in a historical amount of small-dollar donations. Graham appeared on Fox News a number of times begging his supporters for money.
