As Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden inches closer toward an election victory, President Donald Trump is having a complete meltdown on Twitter.

Shortly after the latest election returns were announced on Friday, Trump took to Twitter with yet another attack on the "radical left" as he tweeted: "With the attack by the Radical Left Dems on the Republican Senate, the Presidency becomes even more important!"

Trump went on to spread more misinformation about the election as he described the votes being counted as "late ballots." The president once again alluded to the possibility of attempting to rely on the Supreme Court to have the election outcome "corrected." Although the ballots being counted are legal votes that were submitted on or before Election Day, Trump claims the U.S. Constitution is being "ignored."

"This is what we know. We have to go back to the state level and how this morass came to be in the first instance. The Governor, Wolf, and the State Supreme Court, flagrantly violated the Constitution of the U.S. The power to set these rules and regulations is vested in the Legislature."

He added, "They just ignored that, ignored the Constitution. Now we bring it down to the counting houses, and outrageously, observers, who are the sentinels of integrity & transparency, were excluded. Pennsylvania has conducted itself in a horrible lawless way, and hopefully this will be corrected at the Supreme Court of the United States. Also, these late ballots past Election Day are illegal, exactly what the President has been saying."

Trump's latest tweets follow a string of misleading or completely false claims that have been flagged by Twitter. The president's claims have led to mass confusion as he continues to sow doubt about the integrity of the United States' election systems. However, there's no sign of any significant failures or fraud affecting the results. The plain fact is that Biden looks poised to win the presidency, and Trump is on a path to lose.
