Pat Robertson Gets to the Bottom of What Turns Teen Girls Lesbian
Televangelist Pat Robertson warned on Thursday that teens could be turned into lesbians if they are molested or if they watch “girl-on-girl” movies.
A viewer named Anna told Robertson in an email that her 21-year-old daughter had “shocked us with the news that she has a girlfriend.”
Anna said that she was “battling this and letting her live at home.” But the daughter was not allowed to have any visitors.
“She is 21 and was always very feminine — this came out of nowhere,” the viewer lamented.
Robertson explained that the daughter could be confused about her “identity,” and mistakenly “thought she had a crush on some older girl along the way and that she’s actually homosexual when she’s not.”
“But why is she that way?” he wondered. “Was she molested when she was younger?”
CBN co-host Terry Meeuwsen pointed out that children today were being told to “explore, you know, it’s crazy.”
“Well, the girl-on-girl movies more and more and more,” Robertson opined. “They’re getting straight actors, actresses to play lesbians. And straight men to play homosexuals.”
“And if you say anything against homosexuality, you are just hooted out of court.”
In the end, Robertson recommended that Anna love her daughter “because if she gets deeper and deeper in it, sooner or later, she’s going to be disillusioned. She’ll say, ‘This is wrong, and I want to come out of it.’”
