CBS affiliate KIMT News 3 reports a woman in a Rochester, Minn., park called a 5-year-old boy the N-word and made racist comments before driving away in her car earlier this week.

Minnesota resident Sharmake Omar, who says the 5-year-old regularly plays with his kids, filmed Shiloh Hendrix calling the boy a racial slur at Roy Sutherland Playground near Soldiers Field Memorial Park.

"Kids at the park were frightened, obviously the lady she was very angry and very loud, a lot of racial slurs. Not just my kids, other kids on the playground and their parents were frightened too," Omar said.

Hendrix, can be heard shouting the N-word in the video multiple times. Omar says he reported the video to police after filming it on Monday.

Omar confronted Hendrix about her language in the video, but Hendrix was unapologetic.

I’ll call him one “if he acts like it,” KIMT News 3 reported. She then repeated the slur on her way to her vehicle.

The woman claims the boy stole her 18-month-old son's diaper bag, but Omar disputes that argument, saying he recalls the child picking up a toy near the bag.

Hendrix and her video went viral this week, and Hendrix has started an online “GiveSendGo” fundraiser, which had earned her nearly $360k in donations by Friday. She has since increased the page's goal from $50,000 to $1 million “to help protect her family.”

Omar says he is the one receiving death threats, however, for releasing the video.
