On Tuesday, a new gold sign appeared at the White House, indicating "The Rose Garden" outside of the West Wing.

CNN's senior reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere noted the new "investment" on the outer part of the outdoor colonnade, with another sign indicating Trump's ex-president's wall, where Trump posts his own commentary about them.

In November, President Donald Trump was ridiculed for a sign that went up outside the Oval Office. Critics wondered whether he needed the sign to remember which door to use.

Marine veteran Brandon Sparks assumed this recent addition is more of that. "They've had to label the White House like an adult retirement home where the people forget which door is the cafeteria. How embarrassing," he wrote on X.

The new sign is drawing mockery for being another example of Trump's "ugly" golden embellishments.

"How much does membership of this club cost?" asked media expert David Cinch.

National security analyst Marcy Wheeler noted, "Increasingly suspect Trump's aides have labeled the White House like one does for an elderly parent who can't necessarily remember what the rooms of the house are anymore."

"The White House is starting to look like a Herblock cartoon. #YesIAmAncient," mocked senior national political correspondent for U.S. News and World Report, Oliver Knox.

"It looks like a one-star Chinese restaurant in the suburbs," mocked progressive influencer Christopher Hale.

"This is so g——d—— hideous," said progressive reporter Emily C. Singer.

"Dear God. It just keeps getting worse. In barely a year, the White House has gone from subtle and classy to full-blown cringe and tacky," said Democratic strategist Chris D. Jackson.

Democratic strategist Josh Schwerin expects, "They are 100 percent going to put up a gold sign on the front of the building that says 'The Donald J Trump White House.'"

Trump has already bulldozed the Jacqueline Kennedy Rose Garden built off the East Wing of the White House. The East Wing is also gone.

Others pointed out that the Rose Garden has gone from an actual garden of roses to a concrete patio with tables and chairs, along with bright yellow umbrellas resembling those at Mar-a-Lago.

Zeto News' Peter Twinklage joked he thought Trump had changed it to "The Olive Garden."

"Trump needs reminding because his brain is mush," said Joe Flood, the man known as "Red Bike Guy," for his 2023 act of civil disobedance where he mocked white supremacists gathering in Washington D.C.

Conservative Christian broadcaster Erick Erickson also called it "tacky." Republican Amanda Stewart Sprowls replied, "Trump has turned the Rose Garden into a Las Vegas wedding chapel."

Even self-described Republican conservative Greg Kustanovich agreed, "Too much lol."
