President Donald Trump was roasted after posting a TruthSocial comment that Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) is an "obviously a distant relative" of Davy Crockett.

There's no evidence that the congresswoman from Texas is related to Davy Crockett.

"Davy Crockett, obviously a distant relative of Jasmine Crockett, and a very High IQ Frontiersman, would be proud of the legacy that he began long ago, and especially Jasmine’s Great Success as a Politician from the Great State of Texas!" he then signed the post to indicate it was posted by him. "President DONALD J. TRUMP." He included a video of the 1955 song about Davy Crockett from the mini-series in 1954 when Trump was about 9-years-old. Parker also played Daniel Boone in another TV show in the late 1960s.

Davy Crockett, a former politician from the Whig Party, left the National Republican Party in 1833. He was a bear hunter, militia officer and frontiersman, who ultimately died at the Battle of the Alamo. He stood in fierce opposition to the institution of slavery, but he owned slaves anyway, HistoryNet documented.

Pro-Trump accounts on X celebrated the post using some of the exact same phrases from multiple accounts. They insist he "TROLLED" the congresswoman.

"The President is clearly already missing me as many others will… but, lucky for you, Sir, I’m in the seat until January and have no plans of taking my foot off the gas on behalf of the American people," Rep. Crockett posted with a smiley face and hearts. "I wonder if this has anything to do with my questioning of Pam Bondi????!!!"

"Frontiersmen coming up to me, sobbing, hugging me with hard, strong muscles, all crying, saying 'sir, please, someone has to talk about Davy Crockett, they won't let us talk about Davy Crockett.' That ends today. The war on Davy Crockett is over," said Mike Rothschild, conspiracy theory expert and researcher.

"Oh he *really* doesn’t want people talking about how Pam Bondi helped him cover up the Epstein files," said podcaster and Jeopardy! Champion Hemant Mehta.

"What the f— are we doing here man?" asked a very confused Gizmodo reporter, Matt Novak, asked.

Mississippi Free Press news editor Ashton Pittman questioned, "Why did I just read??? I try not to link to his site, but for those asking if it's real..."

One person suggested that it might be time to put "grandpa" in the "nursing home." Another said Trump was "sundowning early," and one simply said, "I'm out." Even Ted Cruz's rapid response staffer was shocked.
