President Donald Trump’s health is so deeply embedded in the news that MAGA podcaster and Trump endorser Joe Rogan was mulling the aftermath of his death in Tuesday’s “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast.

Rogan and his guest, former MMA fighter and podcaster Brendan Schaub discussed the world Trump would leave behind now that he has so thoroughly disrupted global oil supplies with his self-inflicted war in Iran.

The topic popped out as the two discussed how global oil companies would assassinate Trump if he cared enough to protect U.S. consumers from oil price gouging.

“High world prices still translate into high domestic gas prices. Hey, Mr. President, please fix that,” said Rogan, before adding: “I don't know if he can do that. They'll kill him. … You try to do You try to f—— with that oil money. All of a sudden, President J. D is crying on TV. ‘I'm going to miss — I’m going to miss Donald. He was a great mentor to me. And though I didn't always agree with everything he said and I wish he didn't post that picture of him as Jesus.’”

“What the f—— are you doing?” demanded Schaub, through laughter. “Hey, you know what's crazy to me is there's been, like, three legit assassination attempts and it's in the news two, three days and we're just like, ‘Yeah, it's crazy,’ And we move on.”

Rogan endorsed Trump in his lead up to Trump’s 2024 victory over then-candidate Kamala Harris. His endorsement gave Trump a helpful boost among young male voters, but since his endorsement, Rogan has muted his enthusiasm for Trump after the president declared war on Iran in direct contradiction to his promise not to pursue foreign wars.

“Well, it just seems so insane, based on what he ran on. I mean, this is why a lot of people feel betrayed, right?” Rogan said during a March episode of his podcast. “He ran on, ‘No more wars,’ ‘End these stupid, senseless wars,’ and then we have one that we can’t even really clearly define why we did it.”
