'No flesh on the bone': Anderson Cooper annihilates GOP strategist’s claim on Trump

During the third night of the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, CNN held a panel discussion that featured host Anderson Cooper, conservative pundit/GOP strategist Scott Jennings, liberal pundit Van Jones and others.
Jennings, during the conversation, attacked the Democratic Kamala Harris/Tim Walz ticket as big on mood and tone but short on policy.
But when Jennings tried to argue that GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is being specific and detailed from a policy standpoint, Cooper was quick to call him out.

Jennings told the other panelists, "They want you to vote for a ticket based on absolutely no concrete idea about what they would do once they get in office…. Tonight, you did hear people say: Well, we may not agree with (Walz) on everything, but at least it will be joyful as they tax us into oblivion."
Jennings claimed that Democrats are running "an entire presidential campaign" on "the idea of 'vote for me to find out what's in it.'" And Cooper responded, "Scott, your candidate has done that his entire political career."
Cooper added, "I mean, Donald Trump does not talk about any policy issue" — to which Jennings responded, "Sure he does."
But Cooper mocked Trump's lack of real specifics, saying, "Yeah, he's going to lower inflation. He's going to eliminate inflation on Day 1. He's going to take away Obamacare on Day 1…. There is no flesh on the bone of anything he's talked about."
