French President Emmanuel Macron and other G7 partners are discussing the option of moving the June summit, Politico EU reports.

According to Politico, Macron didn't directly confirm that the members had to accommodate President Donald Trump's MMA cage fight on the White House lawn, but the event is set to take place during their scheduled meeting.

Typically, G7 meetings are picked a year in advance. And this one was slated for June 14, 2026, which will be Trump's 80th birthday bash. So, the presidents of the G7 agreed they could change the schedule.

Despite the schedule being agreed to last year, in October the White House announced it will be hosting an MMA match at the White House on June 14.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White told CBS News on Thursday that everything is set for the event and they expect 5,000 guests for Trump's party on the South Lawn of the White House.

The G7 will take place June 15 to June 17, and the website has already changed the date, but has not uploaded documents related to the summit. The event will be the first for Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, who assumed office in October 2025.

Last year, Trump had a massive military parade for his birthday which also celebrated the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army. Britannica concluded, it "was estimated that the event cost between $25 million and $45 million
