The Right Wing

Fox News host Laura Ingraham went off on left-leaning Gen Z for not prioritizing marriage and child rearing. As the Daily Beast reports, Ingraham, 62, has never been married.

The "Ingraham Angle" host cited a recent NBC News Decision Desk poll that placed marriage and children way down on the list of priorities for liberal women.

“Young conservative men seem to still have their priorities straight because a new poll from NBC News shows that men ages 18 to 29 who voted for Trump ranked having children number one priority, the definition of success. Being married came in number four,” she said.

“So what about Gen Z men who voted for Kamala [Harris]? Well, they ranked having children at number nine, getting married at number 10. It’s even worse with female Gen Z Kamala voters. Being married at 11, way down in the list for them. Having kids, well, that’s ranked way down at number 12.”

Though Ingraham herself has never married, she does have two adopted children, a fact her very single guest, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, ignored.

“Young women don’t value having children, and this is one of the reasons why we are seeing a fertility collapse in the west. Less and less young people get married. We’re seeing more and more people go into their 30s to have children," Kirk complained.

Neither Kirk's nor Ingraham's comments were received warmly in the social media sphere.

"Typical GOP BS … do as I say, not as I do," commented Ingrid Jaegermeister on X.

Suzanne St. Onge agreed, posting, "Typical [MAGA]. Do as I say not as I do."

Fight Back Now Or Its Over brought out the sarcasm font on X, saying, "I can't imagine [sic] my Laura Ingraham has never been married. She's so pleasant."

"Ingraham, a never-married, 62-year-old TV talking head who's spent her entire life building a lucrative career spewing faux outrage about the great dangers of American liberalism ..." mused NewsCat, who added, "Republicans: We need more children to feed the conservative power machine!"
