'He's going to suffer': Former Trump lawyer issues a 'dire' warning to Peter Navarro

Ex-President Donald Trump's former long-time personal attorney and "fixer" Michael Cohen told MSNBC host Chris Hayes on Wednesday's edition of All In that Trump's White House trade adviser Peter Navarro has "not yet even contemplated" the "damage" that his relationship with Trump will inflict upon his life.
Per ABC News, Navarro "'acted as if he was above the law,' prosecutors told jurors Wednesday during Navarro's trial on charges of defying a subpoena issued in February 2022" by the United States House of Representatives select committee that investigated the insurrection at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021. ABC notes that "Navarro, who under Trump was director of the White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy is being tried on contempt of Congress charges after he was indicted by a grand jury in June."

According to Cohen, Navarro failed to consider the potential consequences of his own behavior before taking action.
Navarro, Cohen said, "failed to comply and now he's going to suffer the repercussions and he has no clue on the extent of the repercussions that he's now going to be confronted with. First of all, after the conviction, which I believe he will be convicted, not only do you lose your banking relationships, your credit cards start contacting you now that you're a felon, right? They then drop you, your banks drop you, you can't get loans. You know, it, you lose your license for whatever it is that you did. If he's a teacher or a professor, you're gonna lose that gig. You know, your family's happiness — I mean, the extent of the damage that Donald Trump causes for those people who get caught up like myself in this cult of Trump, this dumpster cult, it's so far-reaching that Peter Navarro has not yet even contemplated the full extent of it."
Hayes, replied, "Oof dire warning. Michael Cohen."
Cohen added, "You know, I'll go one step, I'll go one step further for you. You saw when he was grabbing at that sign of that woman? You know, I, as I'm gonna now warn him to keep his hands to himself. There was a lawsuit, the [Efrain] Galicia case, that Donald Trump, you know, had with his, with Keith Schiller, his former bodyguard, where they grabbed the sign from somebody and they ended up paying out a pretty substantial amount. So Peter should learn to keep his hands to himself."
