'Add ultra conservative': New Michigan GOP chair brags the party 'swung hard to the right' under her control

Michigan's new Republican Party chair, Kristina Karamo recently boasted in an interview the state party has officially "swung hard to the right" under her direction.
Before the election-denier stepped into her role, she "suffered a brutal rebuke from voters" during the state secretary of state 2022 midterm race.
Regarding the state GOP's decision to vote her as chair, VICE reports:
[Karamo is] a candidate who still refuses to concede her 14-point election loss last fall, has close ties to the QAnon conspiracy theory movement and thinks everyone and everything is satanic, from Jay-Z to Cardi B to yoga.
PatriotTakes shared a clip of the interview, writing, "Newly elected Michigan GOP Chair Kristina Karamo confirmed that the Michigan Republican party has turned 'ultra conservative and swung hard to the right.'"
Laywer Ben Meiselas retweeted the post, saying, "Republican Leaders ask they be called ultra MAGA, ultra conservative, or the hard right."
In the video, the interviewer asked Karamo, "I watch some of the progressive media as they say, 'Michigan Republican Party has been turned over and put into the hands of an en election denier, and insurrectionist' and a long list. What say you when you hear that?"
The QAnon conspiracist replied, "Oh, also let's add ultraconservative and swung hard to the right."
