Damning 'pro-Democracy' supercut underscores Trump’s dramatic cognitive decline: 'Betanyahu'

Presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and his allies in right-wing media continue to attack President Joe Biden as mentally impaired.
But a supercut video assembled by MeidasTouch — an independent news network that bills itself as "unapologetically pro-democracy" — and posted by The New Republic shows a series of Trump gaffes, including clips in which he struggled to remember the names of well-known politicians.
"Over the weekend," The New Republic's Talia Jane explains, "Trump challenged Biden to take a cognitive test and promptly forgot the name of the doctor who administered his in 2020."

Jane continues, "On Tuesday, Trump mocked Biden, claiming he wandered off during a G7 Summit meeting, referring to a doctored video as a 'clean fake' — perhaps meaning to say 'cheap fake,' which isn't the correct term to begin with."
MeidasTouch's supercut video shows Trump referring to Dr. Ronny Jackson as "Ronny Johnson," "Hillbilly Elegy" author J.D. Vance as "J.D. Mandel" and former President Jimmy Carter as "Jimmy Connors." And he calls former National Security Adviser John Bolton "Mike Bolton."
In another speech included in the video, Trump refers to Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Florida" as "Rick Gaetz." And Trump is seen confusing former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) with former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, a Republican.
The video also shows Trump referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as "Betanyahu."
