United States Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) produced a video not long after she was sworn into her first term in the House of Representatives in which she claims that marginalized communities of color are victims of their own decisions to engage in crime.

The forty-second clip was first published by The Daily Mail on June 30th, 2021, and expands the extensive laundry list of incendiary rhetoric upon which Greene has built her political firebrand.

"Generations of Black and Hispanic men – do you wanna know what holds them down? Gangs. Being in gangs and dealing drugs is what holds them down. The lack of education is what hold, holds them down. That's, that's not a, a white person thing, but gangs control them. They, they tell them, they tell the young men in their communities, 'don't go to school. Don't you, No. Don't you, don't you move out of this, out of this project. Don't you move out of this community. You join this gang and that's where you belong. You belong with us,'" said Greene. "The gangs are holding them back. It's not white people. It's, it's crazy."

Michelle Lamb: "White racist middle-class Marge is an expert on inner-city gangs."

Brian Fidler: "'The lack of education is what holds them down; that’s, that’s not a white person thing' - Marjorie Taylor Greene. Disregarding the irony in MTG’s statement; lack of education in minority communities, is 100% a 'white person thing.'"
