Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) announced during a "Moms for America" event she will soon gain a new title when her 17-year-old son becomes a father next month.

Before releasing the news, the 36-year-old mom of four boys bragged she and her husband are raising their sons "to be men, before liberals teach them to be women."

The congresswoman went on to say, "I asked my husband if it was appropriate to announce this here today so I'm going to tell you all for the first time in a public setting." She continued, "Not only am I a mom of four boys, but come April I will be a 'GG' to a brand new grandson."

PatriotTakes tweeted, "Lauren Boebert publicly announced that her 17-year-old son, Tyler, will be making her 'a 36-year-old grandmother' in April. Boebert: 'Now, any of you who have young children who are giving life there's some questions that pop up. There’s some fear that arises.'" #GrandmaBoebert

Twitter users immediately reacted to the news, calling the congresswoman a "hypocrite."

@br0kenhalos: "Her son is now 18 and the girl is 16, this just looks bad."

P.D. White: "Family values."

@stelenj: "'Questions come up...' Like why doesn't my kid know how to use a condom? And wait...isn't Christianity against sex before marriage? So it's ok when they sin but they want to make sure everyone else follows their rules..."

Kathleen Lardner: "She's just trying to get ahead of the story. It's pretty scandalous considering what she says her family values are. I seem to remember Sarah Palin's daughter getting pregnant out of wedlock as well. None of us would care if they weren't such hypocrites."

San Frandisco: "The type of mother that also wants to ban sex education in schools."

During an interview at the recent 2023 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Boebert called for the abolishment of sex in schools.

Leslie Molsen: "I'm old enough to remember when 'teen pregnancy'—especially among Black Americans—was an indicator of *the erosion* of values, according to the religious right."

Boebert said she told her son, "Tyler, I'm going to be a 36-year-old grandmother," to which he responded "Well, didn't you make granny a 36-year-old granny?"

Boebert replied, "Yes, I did."

Her son replied, "Well, it's hereditary."

Furthermore, according to another clip posted by PatriotTakes, Boebert claimed her grandchild will receive "the love and support" he needs.

PatriotTakes wrote, "Lauren Boebert, who voted against easier baby formula access for poor families on WIC, said she will ensure her teenage son and the baby's mom will 'have the love and support that they need.'"
