Democrat  trolls Jim Jordan over Hunter Biden plea deal freakout

Rep. Jim Jordan (R) on Tuesday lashed out at the Hunter Biden plea deal involving misdemeanors, only to have the situation thrown back in his face by a Democratic colleague.

Jordan, who is reportedly leading a GOP push to cripple the "fight against disinformation" ahead of the 2024 election, posted only "DOUBLE STANDARD OF JUSTICE" in all caps on Twitter. This is in line with other quotes from Jordan, who also said on Twitter, "The Swamp always protects its own" and 10% for the Big Guy. Zero jail time for his son."

The implication is that prosecutors threw the book at Trump, but cut Hunter Biden a deal without jailtime.

While Jordan was likely expecting his tweet would be a slam dunk, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D) had other plans. Swalwell quoted Jordan's tweet and wrote, "I'm sorry all the Trump-appointed prosecutors have let you down."

Swalwell was pointing to the fact that the Hunter Biden cases were at least partially prosecuted by Trump holdover appointees, meaning it's likely not a political act.
