During an appearance on CNBC's "Squawk Box" on Friday morning, November 1, former American Airlines CEO Doug Parker told host Andrew Ross Sorkin that he has been talking to a lot of CEOs who want Harris — not Trump — in the White House.

Parker told Sorkin, "It's a difficult environment. The country's polarized; it makes it very hard for anyone to make a statement because they could alienate their customers, their employees. We all understand that…. Now, there's fear of retaliation."

The former American Airlines CEO went on to say that "the vast majority of CEOs" he talks to "are not going to vote for Donald Trump."

"It's not so much because of economics," Parker told Sorkin. "It's because of leadership…. It's a real issue. It's a real concern. It's a leadership concern. Much more so, I think, than an economic policy concern."
