Fox News host Jesse Watters on Friday complained on the air about the argument that United States Representative Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-New York) had with 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. at a House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government on Thursday.

The Jewish congresswoman sparred with notorious conspiracy theorist and anti-vaxxer Kennedy over his past claim that COVID-19 "ethnically targeted" Black and Caucasian individuals while sparing Chinese people and Jews, which Wasserman-Schultz along with numerous others rebuked as antisemitic.

Watters, however, downplayed Kennedy's statements.

"We got this new guy coming up who's embarrassing Joe Biden," Watters said of Kennedy. "He's getting a lot more attention. He's obviously more physically fit, and so he used his lackeys on that hearing to destroy this man with innuendo and smears."

Watters complained that "Debbie Wasserman-Schultz — to say that he has caused harm, she accused him, he said this thing over the weekend about the bioweapons and she said he had caused a rise in antisemitic hate crimes. That was Thursday. She's saying in four days RFK's comments that maybe we played here on Fox and was online, caused people to attack Jewish people physically. She can't point to one example of that."
