MAGA vultures circle Charlie Kirk’s corpse for a six-figure payout

MAGA-world researcher and Bulwark writer Will Sommer says Charlie Kirk’s death is about to make some serious money for MAGA carrion feeders seeking payday.

“Two prominent right-wing media figures will face off Friday in a debate over Charlie Kirk’s assassination. And while normies may find the specter of this a bit grotesque, MAGA media has thrilled to the ghoulish drama, eager to see a spectacle that’s been described as the “Super Bowl of Charlie murder content.”

Beyond haggling over whether the stage is a non-smoking environment the show is mostly a go. Sommer said this means right-wing podcaster and MAGA maven Candace Owens can sail away with a smooth $300,000 for being one-half of the debate duo,

“Kirk’s assassination eleven months ago has already inspired a MAGA civil war, as well as growing unrest within Kirk’s Turning Point USA, and the indelible image of widow Erika Kirk walking out at her husband’s memorial to pyrotechnics,” said Sommer. “But with hundreds of thousands of dollars on the table and a buildup worthy of a pay-per-view prize fight, Friday’s showdown between Owens, the person who has profited more than anyone from her friend’s murder, and manosphere debater Andrew Wilson promises to be the most stomach-churning product of the Kirk conspiracy–theory industry yet—one that offers a vivid illustration of the twisted incentives of the right-wing content machine.

Sommer said the match already has the style of “a fight-night-style promo,” complete with a picture featuring the combatants facing off of debate moderator and “business-hustle podcast bro Patrick Bet-David,” dressed in a golden blazer.

“I want to stress that point: this isn’t prize money that will go to the debate’s winner. It’s an appearance fee for Owens, who at one point demanded as much as $500,000 before settling for a more modest (but still six-figure) sum,” said Sommer.

Wilson’s claim will be that the suspect Tyler Robinson — who has been both identified and arrested — shot Kirk, while Owens will argue for bigger, goofier conspiracies shaking MAGA circles.

Owens, who is pregnant, demands Wilson not chain-smoke during the debate — like he does when debating OnlyFans models like “Temu Danny Zuko from Grease.” Sommer said he’s not sure where Wilson got the $300K. After forking over Owen’s cash Wilson launched a crowdfunding effort to recoup the cash.

Sommer said the idea that Wilson is representing the “sane side in the debate” is hilarious because Wilson is a jerk who’s spent much of his career “berating young women on the Whatever podcast about their sex lives.

“His brand is like manosphere and patriarchy, and putting these OnlyFans girls in their place,” Owens said on her own show. And while Wilson styles himself a debate mastermind, Sommer said “he’s prone to comical freakouts with the slightest pushback.”

“In one Whatever debate, he became apoplectic after he failed to open an olive jar, blaming a woman who touched it before him for somehow sabotaging it by “greasing” it.

In another debate Wilson exploded into a lash of lowlife insults after a woman pointed out that Wilson preaches traditional family values while his conservative influencer wife Rachel has “three children by three different fathers.”

Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles said the debate will be the “Super Bowl of Charlie murder content,” according to Sommer. “Millions of people will watch it, lots of money will be made, lots of opinions will be put forward.”

But Sommer said audiences should prepare for their stomach to turn.
