During a Monday morning, September 23 segment of "Fox and Friends," hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt and Lawrence Jones promoted a conspiracy theory that First Lady Jill Biden was secretly in charge of a recent Cabinet meeting and that President Joe Biden was nowhere to be found — a claim that was contradicted by Fox News' own video.

Doocy told colleagues Earhardt and Jones that "maybe" Jill Biden is "running the country."

Earhardt responded, "Yeah, she was at the cabinet meeting on Friday. She was at the head of the table. Here's a picture of her. And I was watching 'Fox and Friends Weekend,' and I turn on the TV and I see her at the end of the table. And I'm like, 'Where is he? Why isn't he at this meeting?'"

Jones agreed, telling Doocy and Earhardt, "It goes to the overall question: Who's running things? And why has it not been asked about the concealment of Joe Biden?"

But President Biden was not being "concealed" at the cabinet meeting that Doocy, Earhardt and Jones referenced.

A shot of the meeting showed the president sitting next to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin III.

After the video was posted on X, formerly Twitter, a user observed, "Where is he? As they pan in on Biden! You can't make this s**t up!"
