A secretly recorded video of Tuesday's prayer luncheon for Georgia Republican United States Senate candidate Herschel Walker shows Walker embedded in a group of supporters who asked God to vanquish "the enemy" and shield Walker from media scrutiny.

The event was hosted by First Baptist Church Pastor Anthony George, who led the sermon in spite of the numerous scandals that are plaguing Walker's campaign.

"This is the fight of his life, holy God, and we call forth your ministry angels and we ask you to rebuke the devil. Satan will not get the victory," George says as shouts of "Amen!" ripple through the crowd. "And we know, whatever the results of this election, Herschel wins, because we are more than conquerors. And so we thank you that we can support our fellow conqueror, our brother, our friend, the one that we are praying for today."

Next, George referenced Walker's spouse Julie Blanchard:

We lift up his wife Julie and we pray for your protection. We know that her heart is sensitive to all of these attacks and all of the things the enemy will dredge up and throw against him. God, make her strong. Fortify her with spiritual resolve, a backbone of Holy Ghost steel, Lord, and her faith will be stronger than it's ever been before as she stands by her man.

George then proclaimed that Walker's candidacy was divinely anointed:

We commit them both to you, and we pray, dear God, we claim the promises that your promises are 'yes,' Amen, for their blessing and the road you've called them to take. And Lord we know that whatever happens, you are already blessing them. When they heard the call, and they said, 'here am I, Lord.' We commit from this day forward to blanket them in our prayers, to cover them in the power of the Holy Spirit, because you said there are two or there and there are a whole lot more than that, right? So we come into agreement.

George also declared that the luncheon was a "holy" occurrence:

We commit them to your safety. And even today, when the media has been circling this property trying to sneak into this [inaudible] just to feed the tabloids and headlines, dear God, we rise above the sludge and the [inaudible]. You have placed our feet on solid ground. We are standing on holy ground and you are our defender.
