Fox News' Tucker Carlson is reportedly deeply concerned about the possibility of his text message conversations with InfoWars' Alex Jones coming to light as the House Select Committee continues its investigation into the insurrection on the U.S. Capitol.

According to The Daily Beast, two individuals familiar with Carlson and Jones' relationship have revealed they speak regularly and "the text messages would be 'highly embarrassing' for Carlson."

The concern comes as the House Committee has gained access to nearly two years worth of text message correspondence between Carlson and Jones.

Per the news outlet, the Jan. 6 panel received the text messages after "the far-right conspiracy king’s lawyers accidentally sent a digital copy of all his texts to the lawyers representing the families affected by the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre, which Jones repeatedly dubbed a 'hoax.'”

Like Jones, Carlson has also echoed conspiracy theories about mass shootings, often attempting to downplay the role of guns in such attacks.

In fact, Carlson has also made appearances on Jones' InfoWars broadcast. Per the news outlet, Carlson has "gushed over Jones’ unhinged rhetoric, branded him 'more talented than I am,' and supplied a fawning blurb for the bullshitting blowhard’s upcoming book."

“Maybe Alex Jones is onto something,” Carlson wrote of Jones on the back of his book titled, The Great Reset: And the War for the World. He went on to encourage his followers to read Jones' book writing, “Read this book and decide for yourself who’s crazy.”

The latest development comes just days after the text messages were accidentally leaked. As the Sandy Hook Elementary School defamation proceedings concluded, a Texas jury delivered a ruling ordering Jones to pay approximately $49.1 million in compensatory and punitive damages to the victims' families.
