Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday lashed out at numerous Washington insiders on his Twitter imitation app Truth Social as his legal woes continue to accumulate.

First, at 3:36 p.m., Trump took a swipe at outgoing Congresswoman and Vice Chair of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) over her primary loss to right-wing attorney Harriet Hageman, whom Trump endorsed last year. Trump also falsely blamed the Democratic mayor of the District of Columbia Muriel Bowser and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) for the violent insurrection that he incited at the Capitol:

Liz Cheney is having little luck getting people to focus on the Fake Unselect Committee after losing tremendous credibility in her record setting loss in Wyoming. She lost by almost 40 points, and now she wants to tell other politicians 'how to do it.' Also, people are beginning to focus on the fact that because I recommended 10,000 to 20,000 troops on January 3rd, which recommendation was turned down by Pelosi and the D.C. Mayor, I cannot be held accountable - But maybe they can!

Then, at 4:10 p.m., Trump cited a Wall Street Journal editorial in which the authors proclaimed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation's August 8th execution of a search warrant at his Mar-a-Lago golf resort in Palm Beach, Florida "had no legal basis" to complain that the judicially sanctioned "attack" was targeted political warfare:

Incredible (and irrefutably correct!) OPINION in today’s Wall Street Journal by highly respected constitutional scholars David B. Rivkin Jr. and Lee A. Casey, entitled, 'The Trump Warrant Had No Legal Basis: A former’s president’s rights under the Presidential Records Act trump the statutes the FBI cited.' In other words, this assault on my home should NEVER have happened. A political weaponization of law Enforcement. What will I now do to get my reputation back?
