Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor and Democratic United States Senate candidate John Fetterman has released a new campaign ad knocking his Republican opponent Doctor Mehmet Oz's New Jersey residency.

Oz moved to the Keystone State in 2020 but had lived in the neighboring Garden State for twenty years prior. Oz's politically-calculated relocation has been a major point of contention in a race that could determine which party controls the Senate after the November midterms.

Fetterman's 30-second spot, which he shared via Twitter on Wednesday, stars Sopranos actor and rock musician Steven Van Zandt.

"Yo! Dr. Oz! Stevie VZ here. Whaddya doing in Pennsylvania? Everybody knows you live in New Jersey and you're just using your in-laws' address over there. And you do not want to mess around with John Fetterman. Trust me. You're a little outta your league. Nobody wants to see you get embarrassed," the member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band said. "So come on back to New Jersey where you belong and we'll have some fun, eh? We'll go to the beach. We'll go surfing. Ya know, c'mon."

It was the second video that featured a famous New Jersian. Earlier this month, Fetterman recruited Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of MTV’s Jersey Shore to roast Oz.

“Personally, I don’t know why anyone would want to leave Jersey because it’s, like, the best place ever. And we’re all hot messes," Polizzi quipped.

“But I want to say best of luck to you,” she added. “I know you’re away from home and you’re in a new place, but Jersey will not forget you. I just want to let you know I will not forget you.”
