'A bar of soap is smarter': Marjorie Taylor Greene lampooned for claiming women 'are the weaker sex'

United States Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) said in a speech at the Georgia Republican Assembly on Saturday that women "are the weaker sex" and that the Bible commands that they be subservient to men.
Greene, a QAnon-supporting conspiracy theorist who once claimed that Jewish space lasers were causing wildfires in the American West, began her remarks by taking a swipe at Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson. Recall that during her confirmation hearings last month, Jackson declined to answer Senator Marsha Blackburn's (R-Tennessee) demand to define the word "woman." Instead, Jackson replied that she is "not a biologist" and that as a judge, it would be inappropriate for her to opine on the matter.
"She said she's not a biologist," Greene said of Jackson. She then offered her own response.
"Let me tell you right now what is a woman. This is an easy answer. We are a creation of God," the Congresswoman proclaimed. "We came from Adam’s rib. God created us with his hands. We are – we may be the weaker sex – we are the weaker sex, but we are our partner, our husband’s wife.”
