White House mocks Trump's 'active imagination' as he tries to conduct his own fake foreign policy

Although former President Donald Trump was voted out of office over a year ago and has been gone from the White House since January 20, he likes to pretend that he is still president — and some of his more rabid and delusional sycophants think of him as a president-in-exile at Mar-a-Lago. Trump, this week, announced that he is sending his "envoy ambassador" Ric Grenell to the Serbia-Kosovo border. But the Biden White House is reminding Trump that because he is no longer president, he doesn't have an "envoy ambassador."
If Grenell, a staunch Trump ally, wants to visit the Serbia-Kosovo border, he is free to do so as a private citizen. But he won't be acting in an official U.S. government capacity in any way, shape or form. And the Biden White House reminded Trump of that fact.
In an official statement, Bloomberg News' Jennifer Epstein reports, the Biden White House reminded the ex-president, "Outside of his very active imagination, Donald Trump is no longer President and doesn't have any 'envoy ambassadors' representing the United States."

Twitter users have been weighing in on the Biden White House's statement. Here are some of their posts:

It took a journalist to get clarification on T****'s lying statement. For the record, he thinks he's still president. Sad.— Christopher Wright (@Christopher Wright) 1636656338
They need to squash this hard and fast. He does not have the right to contact foreign governments, pretending to still be a shadow leader to enact foreign policy. That's not a private citizen's right.— Candice📚🌊 (@Candice📚🌊) 1636663059
