‘Do not concede, Mr. President’: Trump supporters urge him to fight Biden’s decisive victory

After the Associated Press reported, on November 7, that former Vice President Joe Biden had won Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes and was therefor elected president of the United States, there were two types of responses from Republicans — those from Republicans who congratulated President-Elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, and those from Republicans who promoted the conspiracy theory that the election had been stolen from President Donald Trump. And according to AP, Republicans who fall into the second category are telling Trump that he should aggressively fight Biden's victory in court and refuse to concede.
Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah is among the Republicans who was quick to congratulate Biden and Harris and stress that he is ready to work with a Biden Administration in 2021. And Republicans who insist that Trump shouldn't concede include Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (Trump's personal attorney) and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who was reelected on November 3 when he defeated Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison by about 10%.
During a weekend appearance on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures," Graham claimed, "Trump has not lost. Do not concede, Mr. President. Fight hard."
Similarly, Rep. Andy Biggs, an Arizona Republican, advised, "What I would tell President Trump is: don't give up. My advice is do not concede. Let's fight this thing through. It is too important to give up."

Cruz has claimed that Trump "still has a path to victory," but according to Joe Scarborough — the former GOP congressman and Never Trump conservative who hosts "Morning Joe" on MSNBC with liberal pundit Mika Brzezinski — Cruz and Graham are talking nonsense.
Monday morning, November 9 on "Morning Joe," Scarborough stressed that not only had Biden won decisively in Pennsylvania and Nevada — he was also ahead in the vote counts in Arizona and Georgia. Biden's electoral vote count, Scarborough predicted, will become even more decisive in the days ahead.

Scarborough told Brzezinski and a panel that ranged from Lemire to the Rev. Al Sharpton and BBC reporter Katty Kay, "People across the world immediately congratulated Joe Biden…. The train has left the station."
Even within the Trump family, according to CNN, there are different views on whether or not Trump should concede. CNN reports that First Lady Melania Trump and White House Senior Adviser Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law, are urging him to concede — while his sons Donald Trump, Jr. and Eric Trump are urging him to fight it out in court.
