'Not answering any questions': GOP senator in tough re-election punts on Trump’s suggestion to delay election as others dismiss idea

July 30, 2020The Right WingFormer Vice President Joe Biden and other Democrats have been mocked by far-right Republicans for fearing that President Donald Trump might propose delaying the 2020 presidential election. But this week, Trump floated the idea of doing exactly that — claiming that voter fraud is a genuine threat and implying that perhaps the election could be postponed in order to make sure that Americans can “properly, securely and safely” vote.
