Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt, a far-right Republican and supporter of President Donald Trump, has tested positive for coronavirus — and according to Oklahoma City television station KFOR, he was recently photographed at a Walmart in Oklahoma City not wearing a mask.

A photo of Stitt not wearing a mask at that Walmart was sent to KFOR by a viewer. According to KFOR, the photo is “said to have been taken on Sunday, July 12.”

Stitt has said that he doesn’t feel terribly ill but has been slightly achy. The Oklahoma governor, according to KFOR (an NBC affiliate), said, “I want to use my story to remind Oklahomans that if you’re not feeling well, we want you to get tested.”

According to CNN, it is unclear where Stitt was infected. Stitt attended Trump’s recent June 20 MAGA rally in Tulsa — an event that has been widely criticized for its lack of social distancing —  but doesn’t believe he was infected at that event. The incubation period for a COVID-19 infection, according to health experts, can be up to two weeks.
