Ann Coulter buried in ridicule after tweeting out contradictory coronavirus 'facts'

Ann Coulter’s heyday of being considered worth listening to has long since passed. In recent years, her big play has been to take a far right, extremist view of the world and then attempt an even more incendiary verbal vomit to the public. The conservative angle on COVID-19 is that things are being overblown and that, even though the mortality rate for people older than 65 is frightening, we should probably be ready to sacrifice our older citizens in order to keep billionaires in billions. Well, Ann Coulter has news to own the libs! It turns out that according to Ann and this very nifty graph she has provided, “for people under 60, coronavirus is LESS dangerous than the seasonal flu.” So there. Let’s take a look at that graph, Ann.

Oh. On top of being a racist idiot, it turns out that Ann Coulter might not be able to read and definitely cannot understand how numbers work. As the graph very clearly shows—at least based on the numbers coming out of South Korea, one of the best test areas for this virus—with the exception of people under 30, the mortality rate is considerably higher for those suffering from COVID-19 versus people with the “seasonal flu.”
