‘Go work for CNN’: Fox News fans freak out at media reporter Howard Kurtz over ‘hard-hitting’ interview with Rudy Giuliani

Fox News viewers on Sunday expressed anger with network media reporter Howard Kurtz after the “MediaBuzz” host gave what one viewer described as a “hard-hitting” interview to Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani.
While the interview did pack some punch, particularly when Giulani claimed to have “tapes” proving that former Trump fixer Michael Cohen lied to Congress (Kurtz asked Giuliani if he planned on releasing the tapes; Giuliani lied and said Cohen told Fox News host Chris Wallace in an interview which job he wanted; Kurtz moved on), whether or not the interview can be characterized as “hard-hitting,” of course, depends on your perspective.
Regardless, some Fox News viewers thought it was — and they were furious, expressing the belief that Giuliani is undeserving of such treatment from a network so frequently in Trump’s corner.
For reference, you can watch the interview below:
And here are some responses.
For his part, Kurtz hit back at one viewer by pointing out that Giuliani—a public figure, and someone who, day and day out, advocates for a political figure—is very much deserving of a “hard hitting” interview.
