Bill Maher suggests Ted Cruz has a shoe fetish after the Republican’s Twitter meltdown
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is used to being mocked.
The conservative Republican has been called "exceptionally smarmy," been labeled a "toxic co-worker" a was described by a conservative as "like a serpent covered in Vaseline."
President Donald Trump nicknamed him "Lyin' Ted Cruz" and some people -- potentially including his own daughter -- believe he is the Zodiac Killer.
On Friday's "Real Time" with Bill Maher on HBO, the host suggested Cruz may have a shoe fetish.
"New rule, since Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted that croissants are expensive in the airport, and Ted Cruz felt like he needed to write a series of tweets, teasing her and calling her a socialist, Ted Cruz has to admit he would kill his whole family for five minutes with her shoes," Maher declared, to laughter.
